Our goal at S.O.A.R. is to empower those in our community with a past, regardless of their situation. We seek to provide individuals who have housing insecurity or homelessness with beneficial programs and resources. Our program also offers resources to help those reentering the community from incarceration or struggling with addiction.

David Wayne Thornton has spent his life using his personal and career experiences to help individuals with challenges overcome life adversities and provide them with the support they need when their life seems to be more than they can handle. As a recovering drug addict, he knows how life hardships can affect every facet of one’s existence as well as the lives of others. While his focus is on homelessness, he also provides services for children, adults and families who are dealing with traumatic situations of their own. In addition, he provides jobs for those in his community.
